Calling people with dementia and their carers
We need your help to encourage people to use a new innovative support network for people with dementia and their carers.
Please can you download these posters and flyers to share locally or put up in your workplaces.
People with dementia, their carers and family members are invited to become online mentors to help others facing the challenges they have faced.
Where better to get advice than from the horsesmouth!
Horsesmouth was set up to enable people to share their experience in any area of life with others. Mentors can chose how much or how little time they can devote to online mentoring and as you can see from the site the people seeking advice really appreciate hearing it from the horsesmouth.
We are asking Dignity Champions who work in dementia care settings to print off these put these posters up on their notice boards and to make these flyers available to encourage people with dementia and their carers to become mentors and/or seek advice from one of the Living Well with Dementia Mentors.
Please help us spread the word about this new way of helping people to help each other.
