This framework was developed  to provide individuals and organisations with a method of both assessing and auditing the ways in which their staff provide support that evidences and demonstrates a commitment to and practical application of the principles of dignity, compassion and respect.

It also enables the development of action plans. to address any areas of learning, or where change is needed in policy and procedures.

The framework has two sections, a generic one that looks at the key principles that should be evidenced by all staff members and then a staff role specific one that focuses on the depth of knowledge and the expectations of the role. within the organisation.
