Probable erosion of privacy with new electronic hospital record system and ability to change incorrect entries

Using myself as an example: An incorrect set of notes placed/stored on the hospital electronic system needed to be altered. Request made almost immediately two months ago. I have now chased them twice since the original request. Apparently,
they had to go to a 'risk' team for checking. This means that others will be looking at my notes. Surely, this is another erosion of patient dignity and privacy because hospital staff failed to correctly enter details. They concern a chronic condition that I need to see more than one consultant about, but they cannot see the notes (Iassume) until the corrections are made.
