Breast Care Checks
I work in a service offering 24hr support and care to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, living in their own homes.
We've had a conversation recently about male and female health checks, in particular breast care checks.
Does anyone have any thoughts/tips/guidance on how we complete these in a safe, dignified and sensitive manner?
Hi Hayley,
The NHS have produced a helpful easy read guide to breast screening - there is a page in there about differences to look/check for that might be helpful, even if you don't require the whole document.
