On the 16th February 2012 Oldham had a Dignity Action Day. 80 people attended the day to hear inspirational presentation from Peter Ashley around Dignity and Dementia, we had market stall including: - end of life, community safety, life story, safeguarding, carers and dietetics. People were encouraged to sign up as champions on the day and also to make a pledge for what they are committing to do to meet the Dignity Challenge. People left with a pack including a copy of the DVD "Little Things Make a Big Difference" developed by the North West Dignity leads group and encouraged to share the DVD.
