Our Book

In 2007 we began a reminiscence group the idea being that should any resident later suffer from a memory loss condition, they would have a written account of their lives. This escalated into a book about the residents and their home St Matthews Grange. We looked at the local history and the land we now lived on, researching the people who had lived here previously, including when the land belonged to the church, as well the group members own accounts. The group still continues and it is a joy to be working with them .
