e-learning: Effective supervision & effective delegation

Skills for Care has recently launched some new bite size resources focusing on effective delegation and effective supervision.

It is aiming to produce more of these resources on a variety of different topics over the coming weeks to support frontline managers.

Effective supervision (opens new window) – these resources can help you to continue to deliver virtual supervisions and detail how to delegate the supervisor role to other staff.

Effective delegation (opens new window) – these resources were produced to support the effective delegation and empowering your staff webinar and include an effective delegation checklist, practical ways to delegate and reflecting on your delegation responsibilities. 

New content has been added to the Care Certificate e-learning programme. New scenario sessions have been launched to support learners working towards the 15 Standards of the Care Certificate include: Maternity, Learning disability, Homeless, Reablement, and Pre-hospital. The updated scenario settings are: Primary care, Mental health, Acute, End-of-life and Home care. The existing scenario sessions, which were launched in 2018, have also been updated are now suitable for those who wish to learn via a mobile phone.
