The General Election

As you know, a General Election is imminent. Once the election date is called the Dignity in Care Campaign Team here at DH will be subject to election purdah rules. That means we have to limit our activity in respect of the campaign.

During election purdah which must last at least three weeks and could be as long as six weeks we unfortunately will be unable to do the following:

• Update the Dignity Champions Website
• Send out our Dignity Champions E-Bulletin or Quarterly Newsletter
• Send out mass mailings of posters, cards and leaflets about the campaign.

However, we will still be able to send individuals their badges and a small number of cards, leaflets for their personal use.

Therefore, if you require a large number of cards, leaflets etc please contact us ASAP so we can make sure we send these to you.

Normal business will resume once the election is over.
