Outcome of the Dignity Champions webchat

The third ever webchat with the Minister for Care Services (Ivan Lewis MP) and Dignity Champions was well attended on 20th May. Many of you submitted a variety of challenging and thought provoking questions in advance of the webchat, so thank you for sending in your questions ahead of the day and thank you also for those of you who took part on the day. Like previous events, it was a useful way for the Minister to engage with champions. I hope that you found it a helpful way of raising policy issues about the Dignity in Care campaign with the Minister.

For those of you who didn't take part, a full transcript of what was discussed at the webchat is available to view at www.publicquestion.com (opens new window) (the website that hosted the webchat). I would urge you to view it to see the range of questions put to the Minister and the opinions and suggestions put forward about expanding the campaign. Perhaps there is someone on the webchat who you might wish to contact as a result of hearing their thoughts and initiatives they described as part of the conversation? Names and organisations were provided within the transcript of the event.
