Leeds Year of Volunteering 2010 - Final Date for Nominations 30th September 2010
The Leeds Year of Volunteering Awards are part of the 2010 Leeds Year of Volunteering, and are designed to recognise and celebrate the contribution that volunteers make to the city. The organisers would like you to nominate yourself, or a person or group that you feel shine in one of the volunteering themes and categories
Simply fill in the form giving reasons why you think your nomination should be considered for an award. Some of your comments may be used in speeches and booklets at the celebration event. They would like to hear about:-
· Well planned volunteering activities
· Who benefited from the activities?
· Why the volunteers did what they did
· How successful it was
The organisers would also like to see photos, posters, publicity etc to back up the nomination. Any information submitted will be passed onto the judging panel and may also be used to promote the 2010 Leeds Year of Volunteering.
The closing date for nominations is 30 September 2010
