Independent Evaluation of The Guinness Partnership’s Dementia Project
By 2050 the number of people living with dementia in the UK is projected to have risen from 850,000 today to two million people.
Guinness have undertaken some research into what makes a safe, secure and well designed home, which combined with a reliable, adaptable and sensitive support offer, helps enable those living with dementia to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. As a result they have published a good practice guide on how to create a dementia-friendly environment.
