Guidance for providers on the assessment of staffing levels
The guidance has been developed to ensure that, premises-based services for children and young people, adults and older people have clear information on the effective assessment of safe staffing, which is in line with our quality frameworks, the Health and Social Care Standards, the new Health and Care Staffing Scotland Act 2019, and the introduction of the Safety Huddle and Professional Judgment tools.
