Funding for training and resources

The National Dignity Council has put into a bid via SOLLA [Society of Later Life Advisors], for funding for a project to try and raise awareness.
This educational project raises the awareness of what people’s rights are with regard to dignity when receiving care and support services.
This will include training as well as resources and support for willing volunteers to enable them to pass on the message to the friends, families and colleagues. Whether it be at Dementia Cafes – Carer’s groups- church groups – hospitals/local authority establishments, Palliative Care, Voluntary groups and wider organisations. In essence it is about encouraging community groups to get involved and 'Pass it on.'
