Denbighshire Continues the Good Work for Dignity in Care

Putting the needs of senior citizens first is on the agenda at a special Dignity in Care Learning Exchange event at the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre on October 8th from 11am to 4pm. The event forms part of the Welsh Assembly Government's Dignity in Care Programme, which aims for zero tolerance of abuse and disrespect against older people.

The event follows on from one held back in March and will give older people the chance to find out how they can play an important part in shaping the work on Dignity in Care in Denbighshire.

It will also be an opportunity to celebrate good practice and feed back on how improvements can be made.

Denbighshire's Dignity in Care and Equalities Group (DICE) will be facilitating the event, which will be chaired by Sandra Jones, Denbighshire's Older People's Strategy Development Officer.
