Data Security and Protection Requirements (DSP) for social care providers
The Department of Health and Social Care has now issued guidance on the 10 data security standards that need to be met by the social care and health sector.
Providers who provide care through the NHS Standard contract are required to complete the revised Data Security and Protection Toolkit (previously known as the Information Governance Toolkit) from April 2018.
