National Dignity Council members' activities update June 2018

Susan Brand, Jan Burns and Liz Taylor have represented the Council at CQC co-production meetings.

Rekha Elaswaparu has taken part in the International Age video conference, as well as representing the Council in a piece of work in Australia, looking at Dignity and the impact of the Dignity Do’s. 

Alan Clarke has been making sure that dignity is high on the agenda in his local diocese as well as making good use of his links with the ambulance service.

Jane Finnerty promotes Dignity in her work with the Society of Later Life Advisors, as well as in some joint work with an insurance company. 

Jan Burns has been working with Altura [formerly the Age Care Channel] on a training tool; been a judge at the Staffordshire Dignity Awards and will be doing a dignity presentation at Kirklees in July. 

Jean Hardiman Smith continues to provide links to the National Pensioners Convention, and Frank Ursell to the Registered Nursing Homes Association. 

Our Wider stakeholder group also keeps in touch with a number of national organisations ensuring that we know what is going on in the wider world.
