Care homes and equipment
The Royal Collage of Occupational Therapists have developed a guide setting out overarching principles for the assessment, provision and maintenance of equipment for people living in care homes.
Current legislation lacks clarity in regards to responsibility for the provision of specialist or ‘out of the ordinary’ equipment in care homes.
