All change at care networks

The networks formerly hosted by the Care Services Improvement Partnership (CSIP) and the Care Services Efficiency Delivery (CSED) programme will have a new website address from 26th March 2009.

The new domain name will be www.DHcarenetworks.org.uk

For individual networks just add the network name. For example, the personalisation network will be www.DHcarenetworks.org.uk/personalisation, while the CSED programme website material can be reached at www.DHcarenetworks.org.uk/csed (see below for a full list).

You will still be able to access the networks or programmes through the old web addresses but they will redirect you to the new domain.

CSIP ceases to exist as a separate entity and brand on 31 March .The various programmes which previously worked under the CSIP umbrella will continue their work either in the regions or as part of the central policy teams of the Department of Health.

John Bolton, director of strategic finance for social care, local government and care partnerships, said: "The important thing is that the networks are very much alive and carrying on their work. I'm delighted to be working closely with these key teams so that, together with colleagues across the Department of Health, we can drive forward the Putting People First agenda and help re-shape policy and services to really put users at the heart of everything we do."

Jeremy Porteus, National Programme Lead, said: "I am sure the networks will continue serving their thousands of members and that the change in identity will have little or no impact on you."
