Activity provision self-assessment tool

Meaningful activity is a key part of providing person-centred care and crucial to the health and wellbeing of those who need care and support. But getting it right isn’t easy and there’s lots to consider.

Skills for Care has created a self-assessment tool to help you assess the current activity provision within your organisation and identify areas where improvements can or should be made. By answering the questions you’ll be able to evaluate what you’re doing now and formulate an action plan. The questions also link to the CQC’s key lines of enquiry to help your organisation plan for future inspections.
