'Money Can't Buy You Dignity' DH East Midlands Dignity in Care Conference on the 4th March 2010

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been selected to host a Department of Health East Midlands regional Dignity in Care Conference at the Bentley Hotel, Lincoln on the 4th March 2010. Entitled 'Money Can't Buy You Dignity', the conference is to be chaired by the Bishop of Lincoln, the Right Reverend Dr John Saxbee and will provide staff from Health and Social Care settings across the region an opportunity to reflect and engage with the national Dignity in Care Campaign. The day will comprise of challenging input from keynote speakers, a chance to share examples of excellent practice from Lincolnshire, as well as workshops and action learning to support the delegates' own practice development.

The purpose of the conference is to provide an overall reflection of the Dignity in Care Campaign so far and to share the lessons learned across the region. The conference will give those attending the opportunity to identify the steps which they can continue to make both personally and professionally in ensuring that dignity in care remains prominent. The conference will seek to reinforce the ultimate responsibility which individuals have in ensuring that best practice is embedded and firmly cemented in our ethos of care.
