“My Wish for 2012- “A Day out at the Seaside………..”

This was just one wish from many made by Richmond Village Nantwich’s residents, during their Dignity Action Day” on Wednesday last week..

Residents joined in an “All British” themed Tea with red, white and blue décor, rousing British music, and traditional fish ‘n’ chips served in newspaper. For dessert, Sainsburys of Nantwich had kindly donated a DIGNITY Cake Trolley, with a selection of cakes spelling out the word Dignity.

The residents each received a Dignity Heart and a Wish Star, on which they wrote what Dignity meant to them, and made a wish for 2012.

Lynne Griffin, Village Manager said “Many of our residents wished for good health and happiness this year, but a few did wish for days out to the seaside, plays, recitals, and visits to Remembrance Gardens- our aim for 2012 is to make some of these wishes come true.”
