Qualifications launched in food safety, diet, nutrition and diabetes

13/09/2011

Four new qualifications for people working in health and social care settings where diet and nutrition is particularly important have been launched.

These qualifications link closely together to provide an essential foundation in understanding the importance of diet and nutrition for people who use services.

The new system is designed to be flexible so that knowledge and skills gained will not need repeating but can be built on throughout a worker's career.
