Make Collage Snowflakes

You will need:

• Christmas cards or winter pictures from magazines
• White paper or thin card
• glitter
• Glue
• Scissors

To make the snowflakes you can use different sizes of paper squares and circles.

To make a square snowflake

• Take a square piece of paper and fold it diagonally to make a large triangle.
• Fold in half again to make a smaller triangle
• Now cut shapes into the sides of the triangle.
• Open the square out and you will have a snowflake.

To make a round snowflake

• Take a circle of paper of fold it in half and then half again to create a triangular pouch shape.
• Cut shapes out of the sides of the pouch and at its tip.
• Open it out and you will have a round snowflake.

Create a collage using cut out items from the Christmas cards and stick them to a large piece of card, or paper.  Decorate with the snowflakes and glitter.
