Sharing best practice

Some organisations and individuals around the country are already providing a first class dignified service to those they care for. The majority are doing so within the same financial and staffing constraints as other organisations who struggling to ensure dignity.

It is vital that the best practice from these 1st class services are shared widely so that others can follow suit. If possible, best practice needs to include key learning, outcomes for both individuals and the organisation and a convincing business case for change where additional investment is required.

This section links to useful sources of best practice on dignity and information on how champions can share best practice locally. All Dignity Champions are encouraged to submit their ideas from practice, stories and case studies to be included on this site.
