2010 Health and Social Care Awards
Added on 27/05/2010
The Health and Social Care Awards exist to:
- Highlight and celebrate innovation and excellence across health and social care
- Recognise and encourage working together across organisations and professions, with service users and local populations
The Health and Social Care Awards have an established nine year history and provide an unparalleled opportunity to highlight and celebrate innovation and excellence in the provision of frontline health and social care.
Throughout the NHS, social services, the voluntary, charity and independent sectors, there are people who are passionate about finding new ways of doing things to provide the best possible care to their local population... and then continue to improve it.
People who deliver frontline care, people who lead teams and organisations, people who commission services, people who develop new technology...
These are people who recognise and utilise the expertise of patients, service users and carers; people who don't let organisational and professional boundaries get in the way of providing the care and services needed by their local population
There is no specific Dignity in Care Award this year but dignity work/projects can fit under this years categories as below.
- Success in Partnership Working
- Acute Care
- Primary Care and Community Based Integration
- Excellence in Commissioning
- Mental Health and Wellbeing
- Support for Independence
The closing date for this years awards is 18 June 2010. See the link on the right of this page to find out more.
