Raising Awareness of Dignity

Dignity is not easy to define and many people simply do not know what standard of dignity they should expect to receive.

This section sets out some ways in which patients, service users, carers, relatives and the public can themselves raise awareness of dignity, put it on their local agendas and help create a common understanding of what good care 'looks' like and what is unacceptable.
