Feedback and Press Release from North West Dignity Tour event - Manchester, 16 June 2008

On 16th June 2008, the Care Services Minister, Ivan Lewis MP visited the Dove's Nest Care Home in Manchester and heard about Manchester City Council's work on dignity including their development of a Daisy Emblem which represents a Dignity Award from the council to show standards on dignity are being met by certain organisations.

This resource provides an overview of the best practice presented to the Minister at this event and a brochure developed by Manchester on how to achieve Dignity Status in care homes.
