Marion O'callagha, Adult Care Services

Marion O'callaghan of Adult Care services has been recognised as treating all individuals with dignity and respect and constantly delivering person centred care. Colleagues feel that Marion enables people to maintain and maximise their independence whilst always promoting choice and maintaing confidence.

Marion has been a committed member of the team for approximately fourteen years, the team have never seen her deliver anything other than exceptional care, they believe that Marion demonstrates her values throughout her practice and has the ability to deal with situations in an appropriate manner. Work colleague Angie Ingram Laura Bartlett says;

'Marion enhances the lives of all individuals, those she cares for and their families who have acknowledged this through their positive feedback.

Marion is a consistent team member who shows her dedication to the home; Marion continues to provide a high standard of care. Marion has the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team. Marion is consistent in demonstrating her professional values when faced with ethical dilemmas or difficult situations, she remains calm, positive and always demonstrates her respect for others.'

Marion O'Callaghan was nominated and runner up for the Suffolk Dignity in Care Awards 2009.
