Dignity Audits
The National Dignity Council has produced a suite of audits that enable you to think about a range of topics and the ways in which you evidence and operate a dignified approach.
The suite currently covers:
- Dignity in Everyday Life [including banks, shops and restaurants]
- Dignity for those choosing or providing a Care/Health Support Service
- Dignity for End of Life
- Dignity when recruiting staff for values
- Dignity and staff development
- Dignity and Dementia.
The audits are downloadable from the website or available in hard copy at cost, by emailing the website (opens new window). The Council are also happy to talk to providers about conducting audits on your behalf, although there is a charge for this service.
Future audits are planned to cover medication; mental health; assessment and swallowing/dysphagia.
